To be the last of us?

- I want to keep going, I want to see the morning.
I diseased many people tonight.
They were proud of themselves and achievements.
But this was my greatest act, I purified killing!
I cannot stop now, I shall remain!

- No, I find the purity in your actions.
I saw dementia in your eyes and
your mouth was dripping blood.
You chew flesh, you were so hungry.
You had a reason to kill, I didn’t enjoy the massacre.
I admire this celebration of sickness and death.

I stare my own pile of corpses, old friends.
What a monstrosity!
There’s nothing for us out there.
Oblivion, why live now?

-So? You die?
- Yes, die after me because you’ll be left alone
to wait for master time, bring the end upon you.

- That’s the truth, it’s bittersweet.
Wait for the sun to rise, we’ll die at morning.
Forever travel the time and spaces
with the cruelty of existence as a burden.
